LISW Green Roof Seminar
I will be talking at the Genesis Centre, Somerset College, Taunton for the SW chapter of the Landscape Institute on green walling, wearing my Biotecture hat.

Chelsea Flower Show
BioTecture had a dominant presence at the flower show this year with three of the main gardens featuring our wall, plus one inside the marquee. These were the B&Q vertical allotment by Patrick Collins (Gold), the Principality of Monaco garden by Sarah Erbele (Gold), the British Heart Foundation by Anne Marie-Powell (Silver) and in the Marquee the IDG (Indoor Garden Design)stand (Bronze). As a company, BioTecture was kept flat out fulfilling it's part in all of these!

Mark will be talking at two venues at Ecobuild: on the Cityscape stand, where BioTecture will be demonstrating its green wall systems, he will talk on vertical food production at 11 AM and in the Sustainable Small Projects session at 12.30 he will talk on Rainwater and water re-use.

Gardening as if the Future Mattered - English Gardening School

I have designed and built many gardens, all with some aspect of ecologically-driven design, including experiments with biofiltration, cyclical systems, natural planting and design psychology. SGD (Society of garden Designers) Masterclass in Sustainable Garden Design
I was a keynote speaker at this event held in Bristol at the Create Centre, where I discussed the wider ecological implications of peak oil, sustainability and urban food production (where hydroponic wall systems will play a part).
